Before you read this, I'd like to say that I did indeed LOVE LOVE this movie..butttttttt...here is how it went down;

I waited and waited and waited months to see "Eclipse"..bought my tickets 2 months ago..and day dreamt of Edward and his sparkly face ever since I started reading the books [whenever that was??]. Reading the books, I noticed that the first two movies weren't as similar as the books were, which made it really really exciting and gave me something to look forward too; but "Eclipse", was so so so similar that I felt that I already saw the movie; and "Eclipse" isn't that exciting of a story line-vampire and wolves mingle, Bella gets engaged, Bella loves Jacob-but loves Edward more, they fight the newborns, theeeee end. So, to me, there was no twists or turns, none of that "OMGEEEE DID THAT JUST HAPPEN??"type of moment...it was basically, for me, like "Whelp, I'm wondering if this is going to change, or that is going to change...". Don't get me wrong, I am OBSESSED with the thought of the whole series; but the movie, wasn't as I expected. The hype that was brought on from all the magazines, news, television shows, just didn't live up to what I viewed. Of course, the cast was looking above average on the hotness scale, and the newborn vampire was as well some great eye candy, buttttttt, above the looks and great acting, it just didn't sit well with me as the others; I needed more- more fighting, kissing, biting, blood, hitting, slamming...you get the picture. There were many positives about this movie, as I listed, and many negatives. All in all, I would rate this movie in 3rd place considering the other 2 previous "Twilight" movies. For all you readers of this series, I am wondering if you feel the same way as I?....Heck, I don't even know if anybody is following my blog....but if you are, I'd heart heart hearrrrrt to know your thoughts on this....[ Borderline B to B- ]

: pickin' numero uno tulip...

:GROWN UPS:

After getting over the first 10 minutes of laughter, I could finally hear what was actually going on in the movie. To me, the first 10 minutes of a movie is make, make-break or flat out break- this was a make-break for me. The whole aspect of this movie was as follows [which gave me a whole new perception on how life was "back then" and what really matters most...besides laughing!]

Life, back then, really came out throughout this movie; the braces headgear, the short shorts on men, high top sneakers, swinging from a tree into a lake [although, I think people still partake in those activities, but I have never done it!]. I couldn't help to absolutely laugh my booty off when Sandler and Rock opened their mouths. Anything and everything that came out of their mouths, their comebacks to their buddies, made me want to be a smart ass 108089898 times more then I already am. I don't think half the time they are acting to be honest with you...it's like smart ass-ness is their "job" and "acting" is a non-existent job that they partake in. 

Slowness, a bit. The last 25 minutes could have been without, but what movie doesn't have a "slow" useless part?...."You had to be there moments"...a whole lot of them. Some of those moments remind me of my family, or families I do know. The witty lame remarks that were made to the children, the sentimental moments between a wife and a husband [although have never experienced that bond, I def have seen it before!] and the googley eyes that the young boys made when viewing the rear end of the "older" women. I now wonder if my high school reunion with my friends is going to be like what I viewed in this movie; acting like a teenager again and not giving a ish' about who, what and where. I have about 3.5 years....so, only time will tell. But I totally hope that I can get "chocolate wasted" and share lame high school memories with my sig other and kids [Um...that's not happening, who am I kidding??].

I would have to say, I would give this movie a B-...the camera angles weren't as precise as they could have been and the last 25 minutes could have done without. I'd suggest you see it, when you need a laugh and a "back to the future" high school memory.

: a whole lotta' freshness....

Well, this is it...the blog I have always wanted to write; but never knew how to approach it. I have been a fan of seeing movies and writing my thoughts on them ever since I can remember. I am one of those movie addicts who buy tickets two days in advance, or even a month in advance [especially for the "Twilight" series...yes yes, I am one of those "Twi-hards"] and get there 30 minutes early to get a good seat- in the middle, about half way up...and to see the previews [where do you think I get my list of movies to view from :p]. I am looking forward to writing this blog, and letting ya'll know my thoughts on recent movies and even old movies [you name it, I probably have it or have seen it]. So cheers to my first blog this upcoming weekend....
